As part of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in attracting and engaging guests for various events, from chic urban weddings to corporate gatherings. You’ll be the face of our brand, offering personalized tours and crafting tailored proposals that perfectly match the needs of our clients.

Sales Coordinator Role: A Day in the Life

  • Engage with potential clients, answering calls and selling our top-notch facilities and services
  • Ensure seamless communication from the initial client interaction to the post-event follow-up
  • Conduct site inspections and hotel tours that showcase our unique offerings
  • Represent our hotel at community and industry networking events
  • Meticulously document sales activities and maintain client relationships
  • Participate in and organize sales blitzes
  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape to enhance your sales strategies
  • Adhere to all administrative processes, ensuring precision and timeliness
  • Build and sustain strong, loyal relationships with all clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
  • Prepare, update, and manage rooming lists, ensuring all group reservations are accurate and up to date in the system
  • Create and merge group resumes and banquet event orders (BEO's) to ensure all operational teams have correct and consistent information
  • Work closely with Hotel Controller to ensure accurate billing, deposits, and payment follow-up for all group business
  • Review group folios post-departure to confirm that charges align with contracts and address discrepancies promptly
  • Support special projects, promotional events, and marketing efforts as needed
  • Maintain a team-oriented, proactive, service-minded attitude 

Skills and Experience That Shine

  • Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
  • Prior roles in front desk, reservations, or sales offer a solid foundation
  • Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
  • Adept at managing fast-paced environments
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking effectively
  • Computer proficiency, especially in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Proficiency in Delphi.FDC and Hilton Sales Systems preferred 
  • Quick learner with a knack for mastering new software
