Your Role
Imagine yourself as the night’s guardian, a pivotal piece of our hotel’s heartbeat. You step in when the city sleeps to ensure everything is in its right place, from ledger lines to guest experiences. With meticulous attention to detail, you will:
- Ensure accurate processing and recording of the hotel’s accounting data, safeguarding the integrity of finances.
- Audit, balance, and report on the hotel's financials across various departments, setting the stage for seamless day operations.
- Compile detailed reports that help room management excel in their roles.
- Complete the night audit process, tying up all loose ends with precision, ensuring all revenue is balanced and accounted for.
- Offer exemplary service at the front desk, assisting guests with genuine care that turns first-time visitors into regulars.
Who You Are
A high school diploma or equivalent experience sets the stage, with a background in accounting seen as a plus but not necessary. Above all, your sharp eye for detail and ability to solve problems will make you shine. Familiarity with general office equipment and software, including cash register operations, is expected. Effective communication and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally are also part of your toolkit.
