Job brief

• We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to menu including our banquet menu. 
• An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
• The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and Mise en Place 
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers 

• Exhibit teamwork with the back-of-house team, coworkers, and management 

Requirements

• Proven cooking experience
• Ability to follow recipes 
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Accuracy, speed and a sense of urgency in executing assigned tasks
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
• Able to work and perform in a high stress environment 
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 Lbs 
• Pay based off of experience 
• Shift:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Night shift

• Experience:

  • BOH restaurant experience: 1 year (Required
