Own the Night. Balance the Business. Build Your Career. | Night Auditor – Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View
Part-Time

While Nashville sleeps, the Music City never truly goes quiet — and neither does the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View. Just steps from the neon glow of Broadway and the legendary stages where tomorrow’s stars are discovered tonight, our hotel keeps watch over weary travelers, road-worn musicians, and dreamers chasing their big break. We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye, a steady hand, and a quiet confidence to be the guardian of our numbers and the calm, capable presence our guests rely on after midnight.

This is more than a night shift. It’s a launching pad.

Why This Role Is Your Next Big Move

As Night Auditor, you’ll hold a position of trust and precision — the one professional who ensures every transaction, every ledger, and every dollar tells an accurate story by sunrise. You’ll be the financial backbone of the operation while Nashville’s downtown hums quietly outside our doors, and you’ll gain a front-row seat to the inner workings of hotel management — knowledge that opens doors to advancement with Chartwell Hospitality.

  • Ensure hotel accounting across all operations is processed accurately, protecting the brand and the business from liability and fraud.
  • Audit, balance, post, and report on front desk, rooms, and food and beverage cash and credit operations, resetting registers for a seamless new day.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven performance insights to rooms management.
  • Run the final night audit once all revenue is balanced and verified.
  • Serve as the welcoming face at the front desk for late-arriving guests — from tired travelers to touring musicians settling in after a show on Broadway.

What You Bring

A high school education or equivalent experience is required; a background in accounting is preferred but not essential. Success in this role calls for sharp attention to detail, comfort with figures, and confidence operating office equipment and software, including a cash register. Clear, courteous communication — by phone and in person — is essential, as is the ability to occasionally lift luggage up to fifty pounds.

Why Nashville, Why Us

Our downtown location places you within walking distance of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Ryman Auditorium, and the pulse of a city built on hospitality and hard work. Working nights here means being part of the quiet machinery that keeps the Music City’s most iconic hotel running smoothly — a role that rewards discipline with real opportunity.
