Executive Meeting Manager: Turn Nashville's Energy Into Your Next Big Career Move!

Where Music City Meets Your Next Career Move

Just steps from the Capitol and the neon glow that has made Nashville famous the world over, our Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown Capitol View offers a front-row seat to one of America’s most electric cities. Here, amid the sound of live music drifting through the streets and the constant hum of a city that never quite goes to sleep, we’re searching for a sales professional ready to turn that same energy into extraordinary events and lasting client relationships.

This is not simply a sales role. It is an invitation to build a career at the intersection of hospitality, strategy, and showmanship — where every closed deal and every flawlessly executed meeting adds another verse to your professional story.

The Opportunity

As the driving force behind our group and catering business, you’ll own the full arc of the client journey — from the first prospecting call to the final toast at a banquet. You’ll be equal parts hunter and host: pursuing new business with persistence and polish, then delivering the kind of seamless, detail-perfect execution that turns one-time clients into lifelong accounts.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and pursue new catering and small-group opportunities with energy and precision
  • Understand your accounts intimately — their trends, their rates, their unspoken expectations
  • Execute sales calls using proven brand and company processes
  • Maintain immaculate sales files, GRC records, and client correspondence
  • Oversee rooming lists, direct billing, and logistical details for booked business
  • Serve as the steady hand guiding every group through a flawless on-property experience
  • Coordinate seamlessly with catering and conference service teams via BEOs and Group Resumes
  • Bring a flexible, can-do spirit to support meetings and events as they unfold
What You Bring
  • Exceptional verbal, listening, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and time management instincts
  • A natural aptitude for direct sales and relationship-building
  • A polished, guest-first demeanor in every interaction
Education & Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Administration or a related field
  • Certified Hospitality Sales Professional designation (preferred)
  • At least one year of direct sales experience, with working knowledge of market qualification, the sales process, and file/trace management

Why Nashville. Why Us.

Nashville is a city built on reinvention — where songwriters, entrepreneurs, and dreamers have long arrived with little more than ambition and left their mark on the world. Working downtown means your office view includes the Cumberland River, the Ryman Auditorium, and a skyline that seems to grow bolder by the year. Our hotel sits at the heart of it all, giving you daily access to the energy, culture, and connections that make this market one of the most dynamic in the hospitality industry.

If you’re ready to sell with purpose, serve with pride, and build a career as vibrant as the city surrounding you, we’d love to hear your story.
