Essential Job Functions

As Guest Service Supervisor, you will help lead the Front Office team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences, while supporting the hotel’s overall performance and profitability.

• Provide confident, gracious problem-solving while attending to guest and group special requests and needs
• Set the tone for the team by modeling a positive, upbeat, and service-driven attitude
• Maintain knowledge of property security, key control procedures, and fire safety protocols
• Monitor daily revenue and expenses with an eye toward minimizing loss, managing costs, and maximizing results
• Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Assistant General Manager or General Manager
• Support, coach, and guide the Front Office team by creating an environment where team members feel motivated to learn, grow, and succeed
• Lead a diverse team by example through empowerment, accountability, and consistent communication
• Serve as Manager on Duty as needed

Necessary Skills and Attributes

• Excellent verbal communication, listening, comprehension, and problem-solving skills
• Strong adaptability in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Basic reporting and accounting proficiency
• Outstanding guest relations and service recovery skills
• Shift: Ability to work mid-shift and PM shifts.  Weekend availability required. Flexibility to work overnight shifts when needed.

Formal Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear.  Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
