We’re looking for aMaintenance Techto join our team and help create a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for our guests and associates.

🛠️ WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Class I Engineer, you’ll play an important role in keeping our hotel operating at its best. Your day may include:

• 🔧 Performing regular maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms and public areas.
• 💡 Using your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify issues and find effective solutions.
• 😊 Responding promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests and making sure concerns are resolved to the guest’s satisfaction.
• 🌳 Assisting with grounds and exterior upkeep.
• 🧹 Keeping mechanical areas clean, organized, and safe.
• 📝 Maintaining clear, accurate, and organized maintenance records.
• 🤝 Working closely with the team while also taking initiative and making independent decisions when needed.

🔩 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t have to know everything—but you should be someone who likes to learn, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in doing things right.

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• General knowledge of areas such as carpentry, painting, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of the Kemper Insurance Red Tag System may be required.
• Ability to drive a pickup truck may be required.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
