What You’ll Do

• Ensure guest rooms and common areas are fully operational, maintaining safety and comfort for all guests and staff.
• Leverage your technical expertise to diagnose issues and perform repairs swiftly and efficiently.
• Respond politely to guest requests, ensuring their satisfaction with prompt resolutions.
• Assist with the upkeep of hotel grounds, contributing to a pristine environment.
• Maintain mechanical areas, ensuring they are safe, organized, and clean, with accurate and orderly records.

Your Skills And Experience

While a high school diploma with technical or vocational training is preferred, it’s your general knowledge in fields like carpentry, painting, and electrical that truly counts. Experience in a hotel setting is a plus, but not essential. Strong communication skills, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to make independent decisions are critical. Familiarity with the Kemper Insurance Red Tag System and the ability to drive a pick-up truck may be required. Lifting at least 40 pounds is expected.
