Capital Markets / Investments Associate

Chartwell Hospitality, LLC is a fully integrated real estate company specializing in the acquisition, development and management of high-quality, branded, limited-service and full-service hotels.  The Company is currently recruiting for a Capital Markets/Investments Associate.

**This role is a full-time, in-office role


  • Develop financial models and proforma financial projections
  • Understand transaction structure and capitalization
  • Research and analyze local markets
  • Coordinate and perform business due diligence
  • Prepare executive presentations and strategic business plans for development and acquisition opportunities
  • Monitoring market trends and tracking existing investments to support investment/divestment decisions
  • Supporting the preparation of internal reporting documentation and tracking investment performance
  • Maintain investment management platform including systematic and ad hoc investor relations reporting


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance, Hotel Administration and/or Real Estate Finance
  • Three (3) or more years of financial, investment and/or strategic analysis experience preferred (real estate and/or hospitality a plus)
  • Professional work ethic and integrity
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Analytical / Technical:

  • Strong quantitative, financial analysis and modeling (MS Excel) skills are a prerequisite
  • Strong understanding of finance and real estate
  • Extensive corporate modeling and valuation skills
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis of data
  • Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, creativity, and execution skills


  • Experience presenting to senior management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
