Job Summary

Note: You will receive gratuities from Banquet Food & Beverage functions. You are the face of the Banquet Department. Responsible for meeting room set up, cleanliness, breakdown, organizing, refreshing meeting space, etc. This is a very active position that requires organization and flexible scheduling. Essential Job Functions

  • Following Banquet checklist when applicable to ensure meeting spaces are clean and set up or taken down, as well as keeping banquet kitchen clean and presentable.
  • Stock all storage rooms with supplies.
  • Answer guest requests as needed.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by Assistant General Manager (i.e., vacuuming corridors, cleaning public areas, associate restrooms, washing windows, checking rooms, etc.)
  • Maintains security for guests and property by following all security and safety regulations (i.e., cleans work area, removes all linen from fryers, turns off dryers at the end of the day, etc.) 

Necessary Skills and Attributes

  • Adaptability
  • Knowledge of Banquet processes including knowledge of BEO's.
  • Multitasking capabilities

Formal Education

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English


  • Previous Hotel Banquet or Catering experience preferred.
  • Hotel level housekeeping, preferably extended stay focused.
  • Fast paced previous work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear.  Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
